Jackson Jambalaya jumps on Kent Alexander, candidate for House District 93

You may remember Kent Alexander from prior Facebook antics such as the above (go ahead and click on the picture if you can't read the caption), but this one takes the cake. According to Jackson Jambalaya, Alexander, a Republican candidate seeking to challenge Rep. Dirk Dedeaux (D-Perkinston) in the general election this year, posted the following on his Facebook page Monday morning:

"I retract my statement from last night.. The more I hear the news coverage of Osama bin Laden's death and the holes in the story of the events that transpired, the more skeptical I am becoming of the whole thing.. I want to see pictures of the body and evidence of matching DNA before I will be satisfied.."

Wow. Just...wow. A "deather" in the flesh.

House Republican Alternative Plan drew opponents out

One of the loudest complainers about the House consensus plan was Kent Alexander, whom you will remember from this.  You see Alexander, aside from running for president at an undisclosed time, had also decided to run this year against Rep. Dirk Dedeaux, chairman of the House Medicaid Committee.  The only problem was, when the House consensus plan was released, Alexander and Dedeaux no longer lived in the same district.

That led to much whining and gnashing of teeth from Alexander, as he screamed that he'd been "gerrymandered" out of District 93 by Dedeaux.  Well, guess what?  When the Mississippi Republican Party drafted their alternative plan, they drew Alexander out of District 93 also.

If I'm Alexander, that hurts.  A lot.

Mr. Alexander, an insurance salesman from Saucier, is planning to qualify as a Republican candidate for House District 93, a seat that has been occupied for 14 years by Representative Dirk Dedeaux (D-Perkinston), the Chairman of the House Medicaid Committee.

To this, we say, why wait? As the poll below captured from The Right Side Online shows, the road to the Republican nomination for 2012 is wide open and interestingly led by Senator Chris McDaniels of Laurel.
