Chism Strategies has released a poll of just under 1200 likely GOP primary voters taken over the past 48 hours, and it shows McDaniel at 50%, Cochran at 44%, and 6% undecided.
The margin of error is +/-2.85%. Chism has been the most reliable pollster this cycle, and a poll showing McDaniel at 50% and with a lead outside the margin of error less than a week from the election is terrible news for Cochran and his supporters. The notes to the poll point out that only likely GOP voters were polled, meaning that Cochran could still eke out a victory if large numbers of Democrats cross over on election day.
