Evers to deliver invocation at Presidential Inauguration
For fans of the progress we've made here in Mississippi over the last few decades, this is big news. Myrlie Evers, widow of slain civil rights hero Medgar Evers, has been chosen to give the invocation at President Obama's Inauguration on January 21st.
