Interesting figures from MS Litigation Review

Philip Thomas has an excellent blog named Mississippi Litigation Review.  It's almost required reading for Mississippi attorneys and others interested in the Mississippi legal system.  I check it daily, and suggest you do the same.

He has a post up today about "frivolous" lawsuits filed by some of the world's largest corporations, in which he details the compensation of the CEOs of some of the plaintiff companies.  The crescendo of the post isn't about those companies, though.  It's this:
The CEO of Gannett made $7.9 million. Think about that when you read the Clarion-Ledger and wonder what happened to your favorite writers.
