- DeSoto County turnout is very high. That is likely due to the Sheriff's race up there.
- Hinds County turnout is light through the morning.
- Hewes had push polls showing him down 5% with 20% undecided. Reeves had polls showing him up 30% last week. No word on the undecided vote in Reeves' poll.
- Reeves, anecdotally, is whipping Hewes in Jackson County. If that is true, it's going to be a long night for Hewes.

Very light turnout in east Ocean Springs. Race with most visibility is a local constable race.
