Word began spreading early this morning that a deal had been reached between House Republican and Democrat negotiators on a compromise House redistricting plan. The Black Caucus called a meeting for Tuesday, and it appeared as though all was in order for a plan.
Well, not so fast. There's a new wrinkle to be discussed amongst the parties to the negotiation, so a deal is not finished as of yet. Both sides are hard at work, though, so a legislative solution is still quite possible.
