District Attorney's races visualized

Here's an interesting look at the District Attorney's races in Mississippi.  The blue districts are unopposed Democrats, red districts are unopposed Republicans, and the white districts are the only ones with contested races.

In Circuit Court District 21, incumbent D.A. Akillie Malone Oliver (D) is facing Holmes County Prosecutor Mark Boutwell (I).  In District 1, longtime incumbent D.A. John Young (D) is being challenged by Tupelo City Prosecutor Trent Kelly, whom Young defeated 4 years ago.  In District 16, incumbent D.A. Forrest Allgood (D) is facing a primary challenge from Bill Bambach.  Bambach, a Columbus lawyer, has run against Allgood before. The winner to face Columbus attorney Steve Wallace (R) in the general election.

In all, the map is telling of local Democratic strength outside of the Coast and Rankin/Madison.
