SHELTON WINS TUPELO

This is big.  Democrat Jason Shelton has won the Tupelo mayor's race over Republican Fred Pitts.  The Mississippi GOP worked hard for Pitts, with Gov. Phil Bryant (R) and Speaker Philip Gunn (R - Clinton) making trips up there.  Gunn spent 3 days there himself, all for naught.
