A few weeks ago, I posted a picture of a noose found outside of Percy Bland's office over in Meridian. Mr. Bland was running for the Democratic mayoral nomination in Meridian, and considered the leader in that race.
Well, he won the nomination tonight, setting up a showdown with incumbent Republican mayor Chari Barry.
