Well, I goofed part of the "political note" yesterday

I said that Supreme Court Justice Jess Dickinson was up for reelection this year.  He's not.  Dickinson was reelected in 2010, meaning that he is as far away from a reelection bid as a sitting Mississippi Supreme Court Justice can be in 2012.  Chief Justice William Waller, Justice Mike Randolph, and Justice George Carlson have terms expiring this year.  Carlson is not seeking reelection, and he joined Dickinson's majority opinion.  Waller and Randolph wrote dissenting opinions.
