Speaker Gunn has assumed podium and announced that House counsel is still considering points of order raised prior to recess. Rep. Mark Formby has made motion that House stand in recess subject to call. That motion has passed.
They're back and the clerk has read the Speaker's rulings on the first pending point of order. The ruling is that Rep. Brown's point of order that HB 122 amends by reference portions of the code pertaining to the office of Attorney General is proper and that the bill is not properly before the House. That'll do it for this version of so-called "sunshine".
