A story reported this morning shows more evidence of Phil Bryant's economic failures.
Chromcraft Revington, of Senatobia, is ending its operations, citing a demand of loan repayments. This means about 230 Mississippians will be out of work.
Add that up with the over 1,300 jobs being lost in Tunica, and you can see it's been a tough few months in the Mississippi Delta.
Even after the legislature approved $130 million to lure Yokohama Tire to Mississippi, no details are available as to why Phil Bryant didn't jump at the chance to help this company keep folks on the job.
Still, this is a tough pill to swallow. Yet in the words of Phil Bryant, "I don't see anything more we can do."
