Hattiesburg mayoral race down to the absentees & affidavits

Wow, what a nail biter of a race. Hattiesburg mayor Johnny DuPree (D) is on the verge of losing his seat to independent challenger David Ware. With only affidavits and absentees to be counted, Ware holds a 148 vote lead. This one will be decided overnight or even perhaps tomorrow.
