Rep. Bob Evans (D - Monticello) to Speaker Phillip Gunn (R - Clinton): Take your fake appointment and shove it

Sam Hall of the Clarion-Ledger broke the story on his blog yesterday. Here's his post, and here's what Rep. Bob Evans (D - Monticello) wrote to Speaker Gunn last week: Resignation Letter ('12 Nov. 30).Doc There's some heat on that one. My guess is that the GOP talking heads will say this is all sour grapes, and that Speaker Gunn is just flexing his muscle as is his right. Of course, the irony that they all ran Speaker Billy McCoy (D - Rienzi) down on a daily basis for doing much less than Gunn will go right over their heads.
