55% of Mississippi students pick Obama for President

In a rather stunning turn of events, Mississippi students voted for President Obama over GOP nominee Mitt Romney 55% to 45%.  According to Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann (R), the student mock vote usually closely follows the actual Mississippi voting results on Election Day.

I don't think there's any way the students' trend will continue and that President Obama will win Mississippi.  But it does say a lot about the current student population, and none of it good for the angry white guys who make up the core of the Mississippi Republican Party.
