What I'm hearing from the field
DeSoto County turnout is very high. That is likely due to the Sheriff's race up there.
Hinds County turnout is light through the morning.
Hewes had push polls showing him down 5% with 20% undecided. Reeves had polls showing him up 30% last week. No word on the undecided vote in Reeves' poll.
Reeves, anecdotally, is whipping Hewes in Jackson County. If that is true, it's going to be a long night for Hewes.
Very light turnout in east Ocean Springs. Race with most visibility is a local constable race.
