Quietest campaign season in memory?

Jere Nash has a post up talking about the lack of advertising in the Republican gubernatorial primary, and I have to admit, if I was an average Mississippian, I probably wouldn't be able to pick any current gubernatorial candidate out of a lineup, aside from Phil Bryant. I'm sure that will change in the next few days, but the question has to be asked: Is it too late?

In a season where there's an open race for Governor, it's at least a bit surprising that the only candidates going at it on the airwaves right now are the Republican Lt. Governor nominees.
