Tracking the MSGOP's strategy and spin

This morning, it appears as though the MSGOP party line is shifting to "What's the hurry?"  On the internet and on talk radio, Republicans from Paul Gallo to Lt. Gov. Bryant are complaining about a "rushed" redistricting process.  Rep. Phillip Gunn (R-Clinton) said that the GOP strategy on redistricting is still being formed, but it appears that they will say that the people haven't had enough time to review the plan.  Nevermind the fact that the MSGOP-led Senate is about to do the same thing with its plan, nor the fact that Bryant himself will only unveil his plan at the last minute as well.

The "hey, we haven't had enough time" strategy has one goal, and one goal only: to delay the process, which will force a second legislative election in 2012.

***Update*** - As this post was published, one of Gallo's guests (either Gunn or Rep. Mark Baker (R-Brandon)) said "We'll run this time and run again" next year.
